President Barack Obama arrived in San Francisco Thursday evening to attend a Democratic fundraiser at the Westin St. Francis hotel. Various groups rallied in Union Square for causes that range from health care reform to ending the war in Afghanistan and reforming international trade agreements.
Meltwater News ran an analysis on the latest media mentions in relation to the hottest Obama-related topics this week.
We took an informal poll in the Meltwater San Francisco office before we ran the graphs, and it was a toss up in the office between which topic would be most publicized. After running a domestic and international search, it makes sense that the health care theme is the most common in the US considering its impact here, whereas Afghanistan makes the strongest showing as a theme on the international stage.
Do you think these topics are well represented domestically and/or internationally? Are we missing any major topics here that you’d like to see?
