We’ve now posted three posts in our new “Featured Employee” series and have showcased Meltwater employees from all over the globe (literally).  So far, we’ve received great feedback and engagement and the profiled employees have received even more support and “high fives.”

Now that we’re coming to the end of one of the “most volatile weeks in Wall Street history”, I thought it would be an ideal time to review a Havard Business Review Blog post that I found a couple of months ago, aptly titled “The Best Investment You Can Make.” Those with finance and market tuned brains might be thinking bonds or (gasp!) real estate might be safe assumptions here but the author, Umair Haque, suggests something different, something much more radical: invest in the people you love, your dream and living a full life.

6:00am Alarm goes off. I bounce out of bed. Not figuratively, but literally. I’m a total morning person, which I’m very grateful for.

6:40am En route to the office on my “new” vintage Schwinn beach cruiser. I only hit one red light (yes!) on my seven minute bike-ride along the Vancouver waterfront passing beaches, the water, snow-capped mountains – it’s a lovely commute.
