When Briana Kane speaks about the type of person who would fit in at Meltwater, ambitious is a word that seems to best sum it up. With the support given to her by the company, Briana has been able to realise some of her own ambitions, including being offered the opportunity to help launch Meltwater News in Canada as part of her career progression. Janet pauses when she is asked what it’s like dealing with Meltwater clients and then she says, “It’s like being in a relationship.”
“Because,” Janet continues, “we are committed to doing whatever we can for our clients to build long-lasting partnerships — so that we can meet their objectives, whatever those objectives might be. So yes, I think of our clients as like a ‘relationship’. And it’s that approach to dealing with customers that sets us apart and also provides excellent opportunities for our new staff to build skills in business relations.”
