Last month I participated in a Human Resources training in Munich with HR professionals from across Germany. Some of them work for very large, renowned companies, others for older medium-sized family businesses and others for government-supported agencies.
In this forum we talked about new HR strategies and then engaged in a discussion about what makes companies attractive for new employees – what actually makes an organization a great place to work?
Instantly, we agreed on compensation, benefits, work-life balance and social responsibility as important criteria – but when it comes to the real deal maker, everybody agreed that the things that set a company apart…
